First, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to go through the interview process with us. We enjoyed meeting with you and are disappointed we failed to provide a positive outlook at the end of the process. It is always a tough decision on our end as we have many great individuals interested in working with us.
When we met, we felt you showed great promise as well as leadership potential. Unfortunately, with the role we were discussing, we felt it would be too lateral of a move for you to maintain the supportive growth you mentioned you were looking for. We did provide this feedback after the interview.
We appreciate your feedback on the interview process and will be sure to consider it when talking with candidates in the future. We do not wish for any of our candidates to miss out on other opportunities based on an unpromised position they are interviewing for.
