I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Harley-Davidson, Inc. (Milwaukee, WI) in Apr 2019
Interview
I had a brief call with one of their recruiters about a newly created position that was very engaging but lite on details for what the role would actually do. I then had an interview that was once again engaging but it was obvious that they were unsure of what they would want this role to do.
The hiring process consisted of three structured rounds of interviews, followed by a final offer decision. The first round is a 30‑minute interview with Human Resources, the second is a 1.5‑hour panel interview with peers, and the third is a 1‑hour interview with the direct manager, after which an offer was extended.

Question 1
Can you walk through your experience collaborating across functions in a matrix organization and how you ensure alignment and execution?
Unfortunately, there was extensive ghosting/lack of follow up from initial outreach to post interview. Not only was I in limbo for several weeks/month from their initial interest (several emails with no reply and then a phone call was answered) but also post hiring manager interview, there was no response to 2 emails requesting feedback. My interview was only 30 minutes, and the hiring manager was a bit late and I didn't get much time on the backend or time to ask all my questions. Sadly, I was so excited about this brand and disappointed to not at least been told they wouldn't be moving forward. Interviewing is nerve wracking and difficult, and some respect/follow-up would have been appreciated. Initial HR conversation went so well so I didn't expect things to play out as they did.
