I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hamilton Park Hotel & Conference Center (Florham Park, NJ) in Mar 2010
Interview
It took a year of trying before got the chance to get the job. A friend at another AV company put in a word and the manager consider my resume. AV manager at the time was full of himself and the job interview was more about him showboating then my actual potential.

Interview
I applied online via hcareers.com. I was called for an interview with the Human Resources Department. I took a wrong turn on the way because their website had directions to make a right off the exit instead of a left. I still arrived early. I met with 'H' who was dressed in a casual summer dress. They said it's a professional work environment & the agent at the front desk was in a suit/uniform. Anyway, 'H' offered a lame handshake (red flag!) and proceeded to read off questions from a list. Some things I'd never experienced, so I answered honestly and said I had no experience w/ certain situations. She lacked personality and it seemed like she was just going through the motions. At the end of the interview she said they had other candidates to interview and they would make a decision soon. I thanked her, shook her hand & followed up with a handwritten thank you note. I never heard back, not a call, e-mail, standard rejection letter, nothing. 'H' is a member of a group called 'New Jersey Young Professionals'. What a laugh! A professional follows up regardless of their personal feelings!
