Application
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hall & Partners (London, England) in Mar 2016
Interview
It was 2 stage - first a call then a face to face with maths test and presenting qual data. it was as expected and on par with other similar roles i have interviewed for
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hall & Partners (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2015
Interview
Very simple but very unorganized. Three telephone interviews, an in-person and then a proposal presentation. The team did not connect with each other and therefore did not realize that I did not have the experience level they were looking for (this is after having 5 interviews). Make sure that you connect on the expectations of the position before you put all the work of going through the interview process!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Be ready to explain any previous projects that you have worked on. They do not ask very specific questions so make sure to go in-depth on your own.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Hall & Partners (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
It's best to have an internal referral, as these tend to be weighed heavier in the applicant pool. If not, find a way to stand out. So much of the interview process is to see if you're a good fit with the people and culture. They're looking for someone who works hard and plays harder. Someone they wouldn't mind being stuck in a car with for an 8 hour road trip. That type of thing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Sounds basic but the 'tell me about yourself' is weighed just as heavily as other questions in the interview and is just as important. H&P looks for smart, well-rounded individuals to join their team... not just another corporate stiff. Stand out. Be engaging, a little quirky even.
