I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at HFA Architecture + Engineering (Houston, TX) in Mar 2022
Interview
I was lead on by the internal recruiter of this company by telling me I had all the qualifications they were looking for as well as the years of experience they were looking for just to get ghosted by them after I told them what my expected salary was. My ask wasn't even exceedingly high, definitely within average market rate of someone who holds an engineering degree and has several years worth of experience working in the industry. My takeaway from this is that they're looking to hire good talent for bottom of the barrel salary. Wouldn't ever waste my time interviewing here again.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HFA Architecture + Engineering (Bentonville, AR) in Mar 2018
Interview
Very professional. We met with a few of the principals and discussed what my roles would be. It felt more like a get to know you session in seeing if I would be a good fit for the team. We discussed which softwares I had expertise in and how I would use these to perform.
I applied online. I interviewed at HFA Architecture + Engineering (Raleigh, NC) in Feb 2021

Quick 30 minute phone call, followed by an hour long video interview with four people. Very helpful and allowed me to talk to the people I will be working with.
