I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at HCLTech (Nāgpur, Maharashtra) in Jan 2025
Interview
Firstly it was very bad overall management , our interview was scheduled on 24th Jan and day before that our GD was held , no shortlisting of GD done , so everyone was called for interview(all 400 students) also before the interview i.e. on 20th they told us to choose a certain job role and prepare accordingly but on the day of interview they told us that no seats for choosen job role is available so change our job role and give interview , I mean how can a person change their job role before 1 hr of interview and prepare for it. It was a mess we were called at 8am and and only few interviewers where represent for 400 students , also while we were waiting for our turns the list of GD rejected students came out (i was not in the list) and they were told to leave the premise , it is highly unprofessional to call students for interview and after they wait for several hour they are being rejected only because they cannot manage 400 students .
At last the interviews were only formality as selection ratio was really low like 5% , hence i gave interview for a job role which i was not aware about much because i was forced to change the job role from python to oracle.
Good it was very good interview very good very good first was online assessment then technical interview then technical interview 2 then managerial round then hr round overall good process
The interview process consisted of multiple rounds including an aptitude assessment, technical screening, and HR interview. The interviewers focused on communication skills, problem-solving ability, academic projects, and basic technical concepts. The overall process was well organized, professional, and helped evaluate both technical and interpersonal skills effectively.
Totally 5 rounds first tech+ no tech and a round for language and the will call you for a interview followed by HR interview Mostly they will ask you to explain your project
