A phone screen and a Zoom interview followed an email questionnaire. The questions were pretty standard, and the interview lasted about 45 minutes. The interview went well, and I was told I would hear back in a week or two.
It has been three months since my interviews, and I still have not heard back, even though I was told they would reach out. I have followed up on multiple occasions and have been ignored and ghosted. It seems this company lacks moral values and does not respect people's time.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at HBD Industries (Târgovişte, Dâmbovita) in Feb 2021

Interview
Interviewed with a small division of HBD. First interview with the Corporate Recruiter was lovely. Followed by an hour phone interview with the hiring Manager. The final round was an in person interview with the hiring manager and three prospective colleagues. A lot of red flags during this stage, after the initial discussion with the hiring manager. The interview lasted 45 minutes longer than scheduled (with no mention from any team members, in fact, one scheduled Interviewer wasn’t even on site that day). The company doesn’t value their own time? The most concerning part of the interview was the constant discussion around cost savings. I understand managing a limited Supplier base during a supply chain crisis in an inflationary period is challenging for a small company. However, there were separate comments about the company that left me really wondering what the Company is truly looking for in a candidate. One commented on taking a pay cut to onboard and that the benefits were expensive and not great. Another was drilling me on salary expectations. Outside of HR/hiring manager, I am not sure why this would be asked in a final round of interviews by a prospective co-worker. Best guess is that pre-pandemic interviews would have been conducted in a panel setting and there was some definite inexperience in an interview setting. Regardless, a testament to a future Candidate that there is a serious lack of company culture and values. To end on a positive, the Interviewers all were very respectful of pandemic related safety measures.
