To my delight, I was informed that I had been offered the position. However, I was surprised to learn that it required working for six weeks without receiving any compensation, undertaking company training during my personal time, and achieving a target of £15,000 within the first six weeks without pay. These expectations were not communicated during the job advertisement, thus leading to a sense of misrepresentation and a waste of my time and efforts. It was disappointing to encounter such a disparity between the advertised position and the actual requirements, especially as there was no mention of a trial period. I had also found a spelling mistake on the company website which i communicated to the owner via message. I was shocked the owner did not even send a message back with a simple thank you. The owner's lack of response left me shocked and disappointed. It conveyed a disregard for open communication and a lack of appreciation for feedback and attention to detail. It is disheartening when a company fails to acknowledge such a simple gesture, as it raises concerns about their professionalism and their willingness to address and rectify errors.
