I applied online. I interviewed at Guitar Center (Denver, CO) in Jan 2012
Interview
Manager told me I'd be on my feet all the time, I'd be working with a bunch of kids, and that I wouldn't make a lot of money , do you want the job? I loved guitars and playing music and wanted a fun job, I hated the back stabbing of commission sales but I nkew I could make it work nd did until they changed our pay to base plus commission and then we all got screwed because thay needed to save money because retail sales is dying.

Interview
You meet with a few different managers that ask you about your sales experience. I believe they are supposed to do this over the course of multiple interviews but mine were conducted all at once. I received a offer same day at $9.00 + commission. I have recently heard that now new employees receive no commission for 90 days.
