In-depth and multi-layered interview process beginning with two peer interviews, a direct management interview, and ending with a C-Suite interview. I was able to meet several of my potential team members before being offered a position.

Interview
Quite an involved process. Consisted of several rounds if you proceed to them as a candidate. 1st- was given a short research assignment. Was given 3 articles about cannabis industry topics and then had to write a short paragraph to a handful of questions about the articles. 2nd round- given a "culture fit" with 2 team members. Went really well and thought I aced it. 3rd round - Role specific questions. The main hiring manager didn't make it as I was told they would be involved so they had another colleague fill in. I had to do some on the fly situational tests and did them correctly. Process seemed to go well. A week later I got word that they moved forward with another candidate. I couldn't really believe that I didn't get the offer...everything seemed to go well in all interview rounds. I'm also very passionate about the kind of work I would be doing.

Interview
I received an initial interview request within the first week of applying, but it wasn't clear who I would be speaking with (no info given ahead of interview)...still not sure what the guy's title was but the 30 minute video interview with him seemed positive. Moved on to a focus interview. The interviewer was very robotic and lacked any conversational flow but I suppose that's a focus interview with them. I was then asked to have an interview with her again and someone from the team. It was another 30 minute interview that seemed to go well and I was told someone would be in touch with next steps...and then nothing. Overall these people seemed cold and uncaring for a company supposedly so focused on "customer happiness". I sent a couple of friendly follow up emails, but they ghosted me - that's the long and short of it - after 3 interviews and being told someone would be in touch about the next steps. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend wasting your time.
