I Had three interviews with them including my last interview which was a technical interview. After an hour of interview, I was ghosted! I emailed both recruiter and the hiring manager (even though they mentioned the recruiter will reach out with feedback) yet no response for my emails.
If a company does not have the courtesy of letting candidate know about their decision, they should not make them go through hours of interviews.

I applied online. I interviewed at Gridware(CA) (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Went through two rounds for a Staff Engineering role. Both interviews started significantly late, with one so delayed it required a reschedule. The second ran only 25 minutes of actual questions in a 45-minute block, then the feedback was "not enough signal for this level." If you want signal, ask more questions.
The leveling bar doesn't reflect the realities of the market, or they simply didn't do the work to assess properly.

Why Gridware?
I applied online. I interviewed at Gridware(CA) (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2025
Interview
Overall, the interview process included a mix of strong, well-run interactions and areas that could benefit from more consistency. The recruiting experience was a highlight. Communication was clear, expectations were well set, and the process felt transparent and respectful of candidates’ time. The conversation with the hiring manager was also thoughtful and engaging, with meaningful questions and a collaborative tone that reflected strong preparation.
The final leadership interview felt less structured and differed noticeably in tone from the earlier stages. The contrast raised some questions around alignment and interview approach at the executive level. While this did not negate the positive aspects of the process, it did stand out.
That said, the company’s mission and the professionalism demonstrated by much of the team left a positive impression. With greater consistency across leadership interactions, the overall candidate experience could be significantly strengthened.
