I applied online. I interviewed at Great Lakes Publishing
Interview
I was highly qualified for the position (otherwise I wouldn't have applied), but treated like I wasn't good enough to work there. The whole interview was a sham and its clear the owner with whom I interviewed has no idea what direction he wants to take the company. Avoid this place.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked ridiculous questions about my appearance that had nothing to do with my qualifications.
During my interview, blatantly discriminatory and illegal questions were asked. Additionally, the interviewer was not professional and used swear language in passive conversation during the interview. I was invited to have a second interview, but decided to no longer move forward with the interview process after this experience.

Illegal, blatantly discriminatory questions that put me in shock and awe.
I applied online. I interviewed at Great Lakes Publishing in Sep 2014
Interview
I had a phone interview with one of the managing editors for the custom publications. We chatted on the phone for the first interview, and I was very confident that my skills matched the job description. She was not quick to answer my follow emails or inquiries about next steps or the timeline for the job. I ended up accepting another job offer, and she called back to tell me that she had a position open that she thought I should apply for - I was confused because it was the same position that I had applied to in the first place.

Question 1
Was I willing to take the job in either Cleveland or Columbus? It was available in both locations.
