I applied online. I interviewed at Goodwill (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2009
Interview
Completed online application. Group interview, then individual interview. Background check completed prior to hire. Talked with HR, completed basic paperwork. Toured the store, got a picture of how Goodwill is structured. Received training in my specific job and additional tasks. Met fellow employees and was given my schedule, etc.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Please tell us about a time you had a conflict with a coworker. What happened? How did you resolve the conflict?
Easy; straightforward. There were two managers. One asked questions about my job history and the other asked questions about my experience being a cashier at the previous job I worked.
Process was pretty straight forward. Asked a few questions, shared about my experience, and was able to ask any clarification questions. Good experience even though I didn’t take the role
