I applied through other source. I interviewed at Goldblatt + Singer (Saint Louis, MO) in Jun 2025
Interview
I didn't have an interview since the HR employee was busy in a meeting while I waited 10 minutes for her to join. When she joined, she said she would reschedule for 6:00pm - 6:30pm that evening, which I was fine with. Unfortunately, I never received an updated interview request for later that day or any other time. I hope they don’t treat their clients like this.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Goldblatt + Singer (Saint Louis, MO) in Mar 2013
Interview
I saw the job posting on Craigslist. I emailed a cover letter and my resume and got a response within a couple of weeks via email to set a time for an interview.
I came in for a one-on-one interview and an attorney interviewed me.
He didn't like that I had a Bachelor's in Chemistry. He had my resume for a couple of weeks and read it before even scheduling the interview, so it's confusing to me as to why I was even asked in.
I offered to sign a 1-year contract since his fear was that I would leave soon after being hired for a science-related position elsewhere, and the hiring process is tedious. I was told "That would be slavery. I believe that was outlawed, hmmm, hundreds of years ago." A few other passively rude comments were said by him during the 30-minute interview.
