I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Global Media (London, England) in Aug 2024
Interview
After talking to the Talent Acquisition team for 30 minutes, I was scheduled for a 30-minute video call with the hiring manager, this was based on finding out more about the role and sharing some of my professional experience. I made it through to the second stage which was an in-person interview and involved a PowerPoint presentation of around 45 minutes. I agreed to turn this presentation around in two days, at their request. The presentation went without any problems and along with challenging questions, ended up being a full hour in front of the hiring manager.
Following this, I did not hear from the hiring manager or the talent acquisition team after following up multiple times via email, we would now be coming up to two months since this interview. I understand the current market is not favoured towards the candidate, but for the work that is put into a 45-minute presentation and at a two-day turnaround, given the time since the interview, it is safe to say now that I was not successful in the pursuit, but any response would be appreciated.

Question 1
Provide ideas on how you see the future of advertising.
The Interview process was very tedious for what was supposed to be an entry level position. The first interview did not at all accurately describe the position. The second interview had two candidates comparing themselves to one another. They did not ask questions related to the position at hand.

Dear Reviewer,
We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. We will definitely look into what occurred in this instance and make sure that it gets rectified. As far as the first interview, perhaps there was some confusion as far as the role you applied to. We do offer cross training in multiple departments and that can sometimes cause confusion. We will definitely check out the job description for the Brand Promoter position as well to make sure it is clear. Thank you for the feedback and we wish you the best of luck!
