The first initial call with TA was awesome. The Recruiter made me really excited about the opportunity and scheduled the second interview during our call already. Good sign, right? A week later I was in the office for my, what would have been, second interview with someone from the team. It went super well and during my time on-site I met the Head of HR and some more team members as well. During this call the Head of HR gave me an incredible good feeling about the company, position and team, as well as my experience and the team fit. We were talking about salary, starting date and all these things. There was another interview scheduled with another person the next day but he told me he might not do it, as they really want someone who speaks German on a mother tongue level. Another good sign I thought.. I was told that TA will get back to me either on that day or the next one. That also happened and I have been told the other interviews will still be honored and that I will here back end of the week. After reaching out to TA on the Friday, I got a reply on the following Tuesday saying they still need time and that I will hear back within the next 48 hours. This didn't happen and I asked again. Within 30 minutes I got a reply that the team decided to go with the other candidate, who had more People Ops experience.. which was not even a requirement for this position. And even if it would have been, I have the experience too. To say I'm disappointed is probably understandable. The process has been very very slow after this onsite interview and the approach is not pro-active at all. From a company like Getir I would have expected more.
