I applied online for the Product Metallurgist role in October 2021 and reached out to the hiring manager on LinkedIn. I was contacted by the recruiter the next day to schedule a call to discuss about the role. I had 3 rounds of interview- first an introductory call with the recruiter, second with the hiring manager and the team (about 5-6 members) and lastly an onsite interview. I had the onsite interview in November 2021. All interviews were scheduled within a couple of days so I was hoping to hear back something from them by December 1st week. I kept following up with the recruiter every other week from November 3rd week only to hear that the hiring manager is not in the office or is still interviewing candidates. The last time I followed up, I was told by the recruiter that they have the last onsite interview on 10th Jan 2022 and the hiring manager will make some decision after that. It's January 31st and I have still not heard anything from them ! Talk about ghosting and time consuming interview process (that lasts for more than 4 months). An interview that started on a really good note seems to be ending with a very disappointing and frustrating experience !
