I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Georgetown University (Washington, DC) in May 2015
Interview
It was not a difficult or formal interview. The process mostly has to do with meeting a professor during the period in which you are a student in their course. For me, this was a professor in the accounting department.
The process was very easy and friendly. They asked thoughtful questions about the subject matter, my availability, and working hours. We also discussed the types of tasks I’d be doing.

It was an individual interview. No group interview. There was a language proficiency test and written self introduction prior to getting an in-person interview. On-site teaching demonstration was also included. I was notified the result via email rather quickly, within a week after the interview.
