After a phone conversation with the recruiter, there were two phone screens, one on programming in Python and one on statistics/data science. Both screens were of okay difficulty. After this, I was given a topic to give an hour long practice lecture on, which formed the entirety of the on-site interview. During the lecture, they ask tough questions to see how you respond to students, but didn't seem worried that I didn't have the best answers right away.
This seemed like a great opportunity as I enjoy teaching but I decided to take a more traditional industry job.
