I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gagemaker (Pasadena, TX) in Sep 2018
Interview
The people at Gage were(are) extremely professional and very pleasant. I am sorry to say I did not get a chance to work there, but I was making the right choice for my situation. I wish them all luck.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Gagemaker (Nassau Bay, TX) in May 2017
Interview
Wanted me to sell insurance after I was told the job was a management position. I had a 9:45 appt and was told to be there 10 minutes early. Waited about 20 minutes. Male employee brought me in and and told me that he didn't want to waste his time or my time but he was going to be honest. This is a sales job and we want to know if you would be interested in selling insurance? I asked him what about the management job? This is the management job. I told him I was not interested and he said thank you and showed me out.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I'm not going to waste your time nor my time. Do you want to sell insurance for employment?
Gagemaker manufactures precision instruments for thread inspection. We are NOT in the business of selling insurance. Our office is in Pasadena, Texas, NOT Nassau Bay, Texas. While we have been interviewing candidates for other positions, we have NOT interviewed anyone for a sales position. We can only conclude that this review was made in error and we apologize for the confusion.

Interview
Series of chaotic interviews aimed at trying to get the candidate to give them an answer to their product development effort. The CEO of the company does all the interviewing in connection with the senior engineers that he trusts. They all seem to be afraid of him. He should retire and let someone else take the reins.
