      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GRAPHISOFT

      Interview

At first, HR contacted me via phone. She was really nice. In the first round, I had to take a C++ assessment, which I nailed, it wasn't that hard for me, but the technical Teams interview made me sweat. They introduced their company, then let me ask my questions, and after that they showed me a list of keywords and asked whether I find any of them familiar, can I explain them. That went bad. Pipline, cache and "xor a, b" were the ones I could talk about, but about the other 5-6 I was clueless, I could recall what were they either. Then we moved on to the coding section, where I was given a 50-line code and some time to get familiar with it. Then they asked me to explain what I understand about it. We started from the top and went almost line by line, and I was asked every little detail. It was beyond my level, they were interested in every little detail, about how things wor, The interviewer was really nice, explained everything I didn't know and the hole interview was a pleasant experience, the were searching for someone with deep knowledge in C++.
