The interview was difficult not because of the questions but the attitude of one of the director interviewing (there were 2). The director interviewing me was aggressive and rude, interrupting me at every sentence when I was explaining my history. He asked me again about a situation I had just explained a few minutes ago, which shows he was not listening. He was also mansplaining and told me how he would have done it, even though he had never worked in the previous departments I was in. It wasn't a conversation, it was him trying to show off and tell me where I did wrong in my previous jobs even though I had never met him before the interview. The questions he asked also made no sense since I cannot control what external parties feel inclined to tell me. He clearly showed no care as he was on his phone throughout the interview. I can see why this role is a backfill and why it still hasn't been filled. Separately, the acoustics of the room was bad, I could hear all the rustling as it happened.
