I had a short interview on the phone with the chief operations officer. After the phone interview, I was invited into the office for a half hour to one hour interview with the COO and eventually the owner. Shortly thereafter I was offered the position of tax accountant to replace a girl who had left during tax season after only two weeks.
The COO comes off as an authoritative person who has a real plan to grow the business and provide opportunities for the employees. The owner seemed hands-off and easy going. After working there, I learned that things were the opposite of what they seemed.
As it turns out, Turnover is extremely high.
