When I had received the phone call for the interview, it was literally the day after I had applied for the position. The phone call was made by HR (Nancy), who was the nicest and friendliest person ever. She asked if I was able to do a phone interview right away, of course I was more than willing . The questions were your average interview questions like tell me about yourself, background of you're previous position, and of course why I had applied for their offering position. Nancy liked everything I had to say then offered me to do a face to face interview the same day.
Few hours later I came into FX Cabirents for my one on one interview, were Nancy greeted me and walked me up to their conference room. When we got upstairs she asked me to fill out what was I believed to be like a per-hire form. Nancy gave me about 15 minutes to fill everything out and then came back with the office manager who was Peggy, to start our interview.
I will admit that having 2 people in an interview is a little scary but i honestly just remained calm and answered everything to the best of my ability. Both ladies were great with the interview questions they didn't bombard me all at once, they took turns asking what they wanted and ask for feedback one at a time. I honestly did not have all the qualifications that were preferred for this position, but applied because I know how I am as a person/worker, which I will learn to do anything I put my mind to. I was asked a lot of the same questions from the phone interview which was fine I know Peggy was not present for the phone interview which is why she asked me them again.
Overall I would say the interview was great, They did let me know right away that they loved my attitude and presence as im always smiling and just had a overall good personality. When we were finished they did advise me that they had a lot more interviews and would let me know in about a week or so.
Little over a week later I received a phone call from Nancy who let me know that the position I applied for they had went with another candidate, but were in the process of creating a position that they thought I would be perfect for. How amazing is it to interview for a whole different position and even before they post it out to the public they recall youre interview to realize that you fit the description. Nancy had me come in to show me exactly what the position consisted of and i gladly accepted right away. Everything was the same from the benefits to the pay so that was really great as well.
This is a smaller company, but i feel it really benefits you because you learn a lot about other positions and get knowledge to move quickly up the ladder. Everyone here does multiple jobs and we all help each other out because we have the ability to move around here.
Overall this review is just to let people that are in my same position that I was just a few months ago know, This is a great company amazing management, benefits, employees, and pay!
