Interview
What a strange experience.
Had my first interview with an SVP who said they were trying to move quickly. She asked for an in-person interview, so I fly myself to Raleigh (at the time was living between there and another state) to spend a half day with the team.
Entire interview processes that day was jumbled. Met with a group of 6+ marketers, some of which would be direct reports and some peers. From there went to an interview with the CEO. You could tell he hadn't reviewed my resume and wasn't prepared to speak with me.
At the conclusion of my interview, the SVP said I'd hear from her the next week with next steps and that I was her top candidate.
Followed up a few times over the next month only to be told they were still conducting interviews but I was still her top candidate. Ultimately, I stopped following up because I was tired of being strung along.

The interview process went well. I connected with all three people who interviewed. Preference for UNC or NC State students. They seemed excited to build something and support students. There is potential for return offer.

Relatively simple, interviewers super kind and engaging. Want to know why you want to be a part of the company, what you can contribute, more about your experience, what you know in terms of industry experience, etc.
