I applied online. I interviewed at Freelancer (Sydney) in Mar 2019
Interview
Very quick and straightforward but a little clumsy. After the initial email expressing interest in my resume, I had a phone interview with Canada the next day. I was asked one question, "What is the proc folder for?" and then told the interview was over and I was unsuccessful. In the hour since the interview I have read what the folder is for so it isn't something that can't be learned quickly. As an employee, this is a flag that the company has a culture of being quick to judge. Seems silly to not take any time to explore what an employee can offer based on the experience on the resume that got them in the first place. Narrowing what you want in an employee based on one question seems a bit unsophisticated and inexperienced. (IMHO)
