They asked a range of classi questions (what do you know about mazars, about the role) and competency based (how do you ensure you stay organised on on track). However, they make you double guess the question (i.e. one of the question was: What are the current issues in the M&A industry, but they actually expect you to answer ' How can Mazars solve the current issued in the M&A industry). You are not prompted to answer to correct question, they have in mind, but penalised when you cannot see what's happening in the interviewers head and answer the question you have been asked (seriously Mazars? Your HR people need to step this up). Next, I was told on another question by the HR analyst that my answer was sufficent, yet in the feedback call, I was told I should have elaborated on the answer. Honestly, if you have an memory at all, do not ask for the feedback call as they will lie to your face about things you did not say (when you clearly rememeber you did).
