Responded to the job opening which was posted on LinkedIn with a cover letter, cv, and portfolio. Was called in for an interview at the office shortly after. The interview was relaxed and not very formal. The employer was most interested in program knowledge as well as basic competencies related to the field. This application was for a junior position.
