Applied online and was contact by publisher directly for a discussion three weeks later. Had a fine conversation, although I was asked directly how many other jobs I was applying too which was odd . I was transparent about the other jobs I had applied to. When asked about salary expectation (the original job posting provided no salary number) I was told my salary range was on the higher end. The impression was given to me that I was good candidate and would be in touch with the hiring director when they returned to office. However, I have followed up twice to hiring director and publisher, have reached out to HR and have received no answer after one month. Additionally, the position has been reposted and now includes a salary that is similar to the salary range I provided in my conversation with the publisher.
