I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Food Lion (Hampstead, NC) in Jun 2010
Interview
Filled out an application online and showed up a few days later to follow up. Spoke with the manager and was given an offer on the spot. The interview took about fifteen minutes. There was about 8 hours worth of computer training and then training with an experienced worker for a couple of shifts until they decided I could work alone.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Food Lion
Interview
It was pretty chill. They didn't ask anything I wouldn't expect them to. Wanted to know about customer skills and previous related experience. Talked to one person who I believe was a manager
It was quick and easy. I was sat down and they described the job description to me. They then asked me a couple questions relating to the job experience and how I could handle it.
