I met with HR who asked all the generic questions. The department manager who was supposed to be there only popped in for a brief couple minutes. She was not interested in discussing my qualifications or work experience. She was only concerned whether I could work nights. I got the impression that there's a lot of pressure in the department. The interview was good but went downhill after it came to light that this would be my first job in Canada. It seemed they weren't interested in hiring me after that.
