I had two in-person interviews and a few tasks to do that were given to me via email. It took a long time and I had to do a few things multiple times, but that was entirely due to them changing managers as I was applying and because they had people leaving.

Interview
The interview was just a conversation with the owner about availability and retail experience. Very casual, just in the store. Knowledge of running and shoes was helpful but not necessary. They had me come back another day to shadow staff for a few hours to make sure it was a good fit.

Interview
It was pretty mellow and easy going. More of a conversation and trying to get to know you as a person. Felt like a conversation with an old friend. It was overall a great experience and the operations manager was very kind.
