I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Camas, WA) in Jun 2014
Interview
The process took approximately 2 weeks. I knew someone in the company so they put an email through to HR/Hiring-- I was called the next morning and had an interview arranged 7 days from the call. The call focused on my resume and achievements in order for the company to determine which departments to apply for. I ended up being offered interviews for an associate position in 3 separate departments, so on the day of my interview, I had three consecutive interviews. All three were nearly identical, 45 minute conversations: resume, goals, situation examples, etc. My first interview was par and my next two were stellar. I left with a good feeling about my performance and I was told I would hear back within one week. Four days later I received a call saying that they do not have openings available but thanked me for my time and effort. It is not the result I had hoped for, but I was asked to apply again at a later time.

Question 1
You have a client who requests an immediate day trade minutes before the bell, but consent from both partners is required-- how do you move forward?
I enjoyed the process but also no idea where it’s going. Excited to see what happens and hoping for a good result. Also I need to write 30 words I guess
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Camas, WA) in Jun 2021
Interview
Don’t apply. The only entry position is client service associate which is basically busy work nobody wants to do. They respond to your application quickly because HR is measured by success on how many interviews they do. So they literally interview knowing that they aren’t going to hire. That’s why they always have job openings listed on their website. So they can keep HR busy. The firm has no flexibility. 50 hours of busy work if you do take the job. The process consists of a phone screening then round robin with multiple teams claiming they have open positions but again they only hire CSA for new hires. Questions are all normal behavioral and really easy but hiring is really dependent on if enough people have quit recently that they need bodies.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Camas, WA) in Jun 2021
Interview
The overall interview process was pretty lengthy. For starters, you aren’t applying for the “Investment Associate” role but rather multiple roles that the company thinks you’d fit in well with. First you meet with a recruiter, then you meet with multiple hiring managers, then a debrief with a recruiter about your experience, and then back to one of the hiring managers, and finally culminating with a Vice President or “higher-up.” All this being said, everyone was very polite and welcoming throughout the process. Interview questions were standard behavioral questions with a few random ones mixed in. Expect the whole process to take at least a month from start to finish.
