Intensive interview process that involved 5 rounds of interviews and a creative project. The first interview was a 30 minute phone call with HR. Second interview was a 60 minute video call with the Director of Marketing. Third interview was a 60 minute video call with the SVP of Sales and Marketing. Fourth interview was in-person with the Director of Sales. Fifth interview was a 30 minute video call with the Marketing Manager. After the third interview, candidates were asked to complete a creative assignment that involved a print and digital asset.
The interview process was incredibly time consuming and it did not feel as though First Batch was considerate of the candidates time or work schedule. In addition to having multiple hour long interviews, the creative task was assigned over a holiday weekend. At no point was the creative assignment discussed in detail or presented after being submitted.
After getting rejected, First Batch Hospitality did not provide any helpful feedback or insight despite being prompted. First Batch expected candidates to offer 7+ hours of their time, but failed to provide the decency of a thoughtful response.
