You are bounced around from interviewer to interviewer and it's made to seem like the company is hiring for a full-time (W2) salary position, when really, you get to the final interview and they let you know that it's a 1099-contractor position. Then, they ask you for you to tell them what you want to be paid. When I learned the position was a 1099 role, I took a risk on my ask and it ended up being too high so they passed on me. Company seems interesting and fast pace, but the interview process is very misleading.
