      Corporate Paralegal Interview

      Dec 5, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Ferrante (New York, NY) in Jun 2014

      Interview

The interview process was long and arduous. I was made to jump through multiple hurdles. I was initially interviewed by the office manager, and then brought back to interview with one of the associates. He contacted my employer for a review (which eventually got me fired) and then low-balled me with a 40K offer with a "potential" for a review down the line. I was dumbstruck by the offer, I thought it would be for at least 10K higher with everything I was put through and the way they spoke about their business. In hindsight, it is a small office, low budget despite the nice interior design, with no growth.
