I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FedEx (Redmond, WA) in Aug 2013
Interview
Observe a sort and then basic information fill out application, background check, short one on one interview done usually same day as you observe the sort to make sure you are aware of what the position entails. Application is filled out online on site right before one on one. Very relaxed atmosphere and very open and honest about work environment and duties.
Mostly based off work history. They seem felon friendly. I do not have a criminal history. Personality test not difficult. They responded within 4 weeks. Haven't been there physically or meant face to face.
Super easy process—mostly online application with basic questions about availability, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and fast-paced work. No tough interview; quick hire after background check. Positive and straightforward. Definitely worth it.
