      UX Strategist Interview

      Feb 1, 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at FedEx in Jan 2024

      Interview

This was the most awful interview ever. First and foremost, my interviewer showed up late. She talked about herself the entire time. Hardly any of the questions are what you would expect for a UX research or design position. When asking clarifying questions, she struggled to answer them. The questions I got were vague and obviously written by someone completely unfamiliar with UX functions. When I researched her profile, this person went from being in communications to being the head of UX research within just a few years. It's not a shock to me why this interview went so poorly because she clearly does not understand UX research or design. FedEx, do better. This is the reason why UX is a complete mess right now.
