I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx (Austin, TX) in Oct 2011
Interview
Question about dealing with different delivery issues such as weather and angry customers. The interview was held on location with a panel taking turns asking questions. None of the questions were very difficult. It is helpful to keep in mind that you are applying for a company that works outside and at a rapid pace. Working outside is great, when the weather is nice, however most days are too hot, too cold, rain, or snow. It is important to keep this in mind. It is also important to remember that FedEx Express deals with packages weighing up to 150 lbs. The job requires that you are able to lift 75 lbs by yourself, but be aware that you will do this a lot.
I was asked if I would work in any weather, be on time/have good attendance, and could lift up to 50 pounds on my own. Then I was asked 3 star format behavioral questions.
