I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at FedEx (Oakland, CA) in Apr 2023
Interview
I submitted my application on a Friday and was offered the position Monday morning. There's not a formal interview. You just have to attend one of their hiring events and have 2 forms of id. Once there, they brief you on what you'd be doing depending on your shift. They fingerprint you, send you a free background check, and give you 48 hours to take a drug test. If you pass all 3, they call you back in to finish hiring paperwork and schedule you for your mandatory orientation days.

I interviewed at FedEx (Henderson, NV)
Interview
Mostly based off work history. They seem felon friendly. I do not have a criminal history. Personality test not difficult. They responded within 4 weeks. Haven't been there physically or meant face to face.
Super easy process—mostly online application with basic questions about availability, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and fast-paced work. No tough interview; quick hire after background check. Positive and straightforward. Definitely worth it.
