I applied through other source. I interviewed at Fat Atom Marketing (Carmel, IN) in Mar 2018
Interview
They were initially very responsive and quick when setting up the in-person interview. They got me scheduled to interview very quickly. I had an hour-long conversation with two people and it was a very positive experience, both were engaged and I thought it went well. They said they'd let me know 5 days later because they wanted to have someone hired by the middle of the April. I sent a thank you right after to which they both responded. It's now been 4 weeks since the initial interview and I have not heard one word from them...including the two follow-up emails I sent on the original email chain...I've been completely ignored by both parties. I am really baffled and appalled at the lack of professionalism and communication since the initial interview. If I didn't get the job - all you had to do was let me know, especially when I followed-up multiple times. If you're still working on the hiring process...communicate that. It's quite disrespectful to drag someone along who was genuinely interested and excited about being a part of your company.

Interview
I applied online and I got an email inviting me for an in-person interview. I replied the next day confirming my availability to do the interview. To my complete surprise, I never got a reply back!!! I even sent a second email, no reply again. How unprofessional!!

Question 1
Who are two (or more) of your favorite stand up comedians?
We looked through our invites and responses and didn't see any we'd missed... I sent a message today to a few people we had invited who we hadn't received any response from in case there was an email issue or something. I'm sorry you had a negative experience, it certainly wasn't intentional. If you got my email today, please let me know so I can figure out what happened.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Fat Atom Marketing (New York, NY)
Interview
There were three people in the room in the interview. One of them was very friendly and welcoming, one of them didnt talk, and the other one had the attitude of an IT bro. He insulted my major when I said it wasn't computer science and insinuated that I lied on my resume. At the end of the interview I stood up to shake hands and thank them for their time, but they didn't give me the chance because they started packing their things. I stood there to wait but the friendly one told me not to wait on them. I felt judged as soon as I walked in the door. I felt like they had their own perception of me maybe because I am a woman or because I don't look like a woman who would code. They never followed up. This is the first face to face interview that I have had where they never even sent a "We went with another candidate email." -and I've had some rough interviews. I felt that the interview process was very unprofessional and I wouldn't encourage anyone to interview there unless you fit into the IT bro stereotype, and if you are a woman try to look like you code or else they will not even give you a second thought.
