"If we get some space cleared up(one day), I think, we'll maybe be looking for a full time, possibly permanent welder. So fill out this application and return to office, incase we need another welder, eventually (even though you submitted a full, detailed resume at our request)". It was by all accounts, a complete waste of applicants time and effort. They just need to call a Temp Agency to fill any workload surges as they pop up. No discussion or chance to ask questions about the "potential" job: hours/schedule or benefits. I'm guessing they just needed to fill the potential candidate folder for future turnovers.
