Applied online and got a mail from HR to schedule interview with hiring manager. Attended the interview and was sent the rejection mail a week later. We majorly talked about my work experience and relevance to the role.

Then came the interviews around past projects with senior data scientists that in turn dived into the technical details and outcomes of numerous projects.
