The recruiter, who contacted me via LinkedIn, asked basic questions about Network Engineering, my resume and work history via a phone call. The client was a local company that generally keeps a low profile.

Recruiter: What is your hourly rate for this contract?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FTSi.Tech (Cleveland, OH)
Interview
Recruiter was up front and honest about company expectations, defining the role and establishing what was needed by the potential candidate. The process moved quickly without a great deal of hang time. Many times a recruiter or interviewer is not able to paint a complete picture of the role one is stepping into, the environment or people within it. Future technology staffing recruiters take the time to research everything about the job in question resulting in a complete picture and no surprises.

Quite unexpected, but pleasantly, beyond discussing the role and position, most everything around it was on the table for discussion and negotiable. This flexibility allows a candidate to feel more in control and part of creating details within their new employment setting which is a breath of fresh air.
