Process was disjointed. First interview was awkward, yet straightforward and was a positive experience.
On second visit, spoke with four individuals. Their "Head of Digital" seemed a bit inauthentic, though made for polite conversation. More on this later. Second came an operations lead, who was combative in conversation and did not seem to enjoy the process. Third and fourth interviewers were amazing people that I made an immediate connection with and spent the entire conversations nerding out on media and marketing technology. These two were mid-level subject matter experts and managers, rather than in leadership roles.
Upon speaking to their national recruiter after the fact, it became clear that the digital lead and operations lead had abnormally negative (almost denigrating) feedback on the interview experience. Based on what the recruiter shared, it seems that feedback from the latter two interviewers wasn't even gathered prior to rejecting my candidacy.
