A recruiter from FOSSA reached out to me through TripleByte for an initial phone screen where I learnt more about the position and company. Progressed to a virtual onsite, which included a couple of discussions with different engineers, a technical test, and a final meeting with the CEO. Overall, the interviews were fine and pleasant but the company didn't really seem prepared to fill the position or knew what they wanted, and each stage had consistent delays. It wasn't until the final meeting with the CEO where he explained they were looking for more of a manager than an IC. We could have saved lots of time if that was discussed up front.
