Invited in for an interview, the person who interviewed me was very rude- to the point of being off putting. He cut me off as I was talking through my experience although this was not clear at all. Then very rudely cut me off again. Based on the way that this guy spoke to me and his manner and lack of interest in any of my experience, I would not want to have worked here! I have never had a worse experience in an interview, and the person who interviewed me could not have shown any less interest at all. He kept saying 'we have a lot to get through' but that was because he was following a very generic list of questions- perhaps if he had listened and was more personable it could have worked better- the interview was less than 40 minutes. There was an HR representative in the room, however she did not really say anything at all.
My advice to Ezibuy would be to train your staff in interviewing, remember that they are the face of the company that you want people to want to work for! Lead the interview and don't leave it open to interpretation about what you want the interviewee to say or do. Being clear and direct doesn't mean you have to be rude.
