      Marketing Coordinator Interview

      Jun 1, 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Everspring

      Interview

This was the most AWFUL AND TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I could ever deal with! Spring of 2019 I've for a position, had a screening interview, which I thought went well, but I didn't get a call back, which is okay - things like that happen. Fast forward this year, I found a new position that I am qualified for and decide to apply. I applied but my application didn't go through as they already have my resume on file. I though this was bogus, as people get more experience, get more qualifications, go to grad school, get certificates etc - so How + Why would the company keep one resume for the candidate over # of years? What does this tell you about HR Department in this company? Since, I had recruiter's email from over a year ago, I decided to reach out. In my email, I stated that unfortunately I wasn't able to attach my updated resume that has my current experience and certifications that are needed in job posting. I've attached new resume to the email and politely asked why are they keeping people's old resumes even if they are using the same job posting. On what I received the following 'Unfortunately we've reviewed your resume and notes from the screening [WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN] and have decided we won't be moving forward with you for this role. This is truly an awful experience , which makes me question the entire company, since they don't put it effort to hire qualified people and don't even bother to create new job posting/delete people's old resumes? what is HR department going in this company? This is horrible experience and POOR WORK ETHICS FROM HR!!!!

      Interview

Met with recruiter, then team lead, then team members prior to receiving offer. Every team member asked a couple questions and wanted to get to know me as a person & my work style.
