I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ericsson (San Jose, CA) in Nov 2018
Interview
This was my first data science interview.
1st screen 10 Qs - General ML questions
2nd screen Hackerrank : 70 minutes both ML multiple choice questions and Python programming multi-parts
3rd Interview -ML with Python using Scikit library
4th Interview have no idea didn't make that far.
Overall it was fair questions about concepts, models and performance. Style of questions were thorough checking data science basics and sometimes tricky contrasting competing choices. I think perhaps lots of false negative result comes out of this type of testing, it fails many good Junior candidates. Those who pass the test perhaps have good knowledge, not sure evaluating more than that. I'm sure result of this test, is NOT reflection of my capability but it was great critic so I improve myself. You have to be really prepared, because test covers quite a bit of data science material and coding time was short for multi-sections better to be on top of coding. Overall I'm happy took the test, but not happy with outcome. Ericsson is looking for Data Science engineers know basics and will code a lot, I imagine it can be tough job.

Question 1
Questions were data preparation, feature engineering and modeling focus. Some of questions were tradeoff having one best choice. Expect Programming in Python. It is closed book and note.
The first step was a programming/coding test that consists of 11 questions, 10 multiple choice questions, and 1 code. I can't talk about the next steps because they didn't call me.
I applied online. I interviewed at Ericsson (Budapest) in Oct 2019
Interview

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Ericsson
Interview
I just had an Online Assessment, there are 9 multiple choices and one programming question. The multiple question mainly about the basic concept about machine learning, like overfitting, etc. Thank you!
