I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (Houston, TX) in Jun 2019
Interview
Applied in the morning, screen call from the manager the same day, meet with him the next week. This guy was fairly nice, but I could tell I was one of many candidates he considers and that this is an highly non personal environment Asked him questions by email, he never answered or mentioned it. He talked a couple of times of how, here, they keep the good people and fire ineffective people quickly. Yes it is common sense, but you don't say that to a candidate you are trying to seduce. He over-sold the position and never really asked what I wanted, what I did before. It was a short and expedited interview. I declined the offer because of this bad feeling but warmly thanked him, he never answered... Pretty typical interview process of high turnover companies.

2 rounds of phone interviews and then 1 interview in office where you make a presentation about prospecting for clients once you would have the role. Phone calls were behavioral while the in office was more about your plan to succeed
I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (New York, NY)

3-4 one on one with manager. Very casual and more of a convo. Almost zero questions that were relevant to cold calling even tho that’s the whole job. Had to tell jokes
